The ideal months for the Friendship Peak Trek are June, July, September, and October. During this period, the weather is generally stable — pleasant days for trekking and cool nights for camping.
You can expect clear blue skies, excellent mountain visibility, and minimal risk of heavy snowfall or rain. These conditions make it safer and more enjoyable to attempt the summit.
Our Friendship Peak Trek with Trivikal begins in Solang Valley, near Manali. While some operators count the journey from Delhi, we start directly in Himachal Pradesh to maximize your time in the mountains.
From Solang Valley, the route typically passes through Dhundi, Lady Leg Base Camp, and Beas Kund, eventually leading to the summit of Friendship Peak.
This trek is rated moderate to difficult and demands good physical fitness. You’ll be trekking at high altitudes for multiple days, often on steep and snowy terrain.
To prepare, we recommend 3–4 weeks of endurance training — including cardio, leg strengthening, and uphill walking. A healthy mental attitude is equally important, as summit day can be physically and mentally demanding.
Our trekking package covers nutritious and freshly prepared meals from the day you arrive at the campsite until the trek ends.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily
- Morning and evening tea
- Soup served in the evenings for warmth and energy
All meals are planned to meet the nutritional needs of high-altitude trekking and are served in hygienic conditions.
The trek begins at Solang Valley, which is just 13 km from Manali.
- By Air: Fly to Kullu–Manali Airport (Bhuntar), then take a cab to Manali and onward to Solang.
- By Bus: Regular Volvo and state-run buses operate from Delhi and Chandigarh to Manali.
- By Train: Nearest railheads are Joginder Nagar and Chandigarh, followed by road travel.
Once in Solang Valley, the Trivikal team will meet you, handle your gear check, and guide you through the acclimatization process before the trek begins.
