Arrive at Siliguri Railway Station/Airport and drive to Phuntsholing which is an entrance town of Bhutan. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. This day is free at leisure. You can visit some of the local attractions such as Tashi Chholing Shedra, Bhutan Gate, or visit the peaceful Gumpha Mandir.

Formalities in immigration then to Thimphu. After check-in, free time. Take time out to visit the peaceful Dechen Phodrang Monastery, wander through Clock Tower Square, or delve into local culture at the Simply Bhutan Museum.

Enjoy a guided tour of Thimphu with the National Memorial Chorten as your first stop. It may be Bhutan's most impressive landmark and quite possibly one of the most photographed ones too. See wildlife at the Motithang Takin Preserve, the animal said to be 'national' in Bhutan, and examine Bhutanese art at the Handicrafts Emporium.

View and take the transfer to Nubding. Enjoy panoramic views while on transfer passing through Dochula Pass, with 108 memorial chortens. Stop at Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, the impressive fortress that holds historical insight.

Start the tour visiting Gangtey Gompa Monastery, with a walk through the beautiful winter home of Phobjikha Valley-the endangered black-necked cranes. Transfer to Punakha for overnight stay.

Visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang Temple, called the "Fertility Temple". Then to Punakha. Explore the Punakha Dzong situated at the confluence of the rivers Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu. Afternoon transfer to Paro Overnight in Paro.
Begin with a visit to Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong followed by a leisurely hike along a scenic trail to the Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest. This monastery clings to the side of a mountain cliff like an egg clinging to a wall. Travel through forests of pine and let the spiritual charm of Bhutan soak into your soul.

Travel over the majestic Chele La Pass (3,983 m) to Haa Valley, known for its dense greenery as well as the Haa Chhu River. Back to Paro after spending one day amidst serene landscapes.

1. SIM Card Purchase: Upon arrival, ask your guide to take you to buy a SIM card. Bhutan has two mobile networks: B-Mobile and TashiCell; therefore, you will miss no communication opportunity.
2. Visa Requirements: Bhutan strictly demands every international visitor to obtain a visa per night of their visit. Ensure you have all your papers in order to ensure a smooth entry process.
3. Currency Matters The official currency is the Bhutanese Ngultrum (BTN). Always carry cash with you, especially to places away from towns where ATM and card facilities are restricted. The exchange of currency should always be done at the banks or authorized exchange bureaus.
4. SDF: There will be a Sustainable Development Fee of Rs 1200 per person, per night for Indian tourists. Children below 5 years are exempted, and children above 5 years, but below 12 years, attract a 50% reduction. Do not forget to carry your passport with at least six months of validity for entry.
5. Plastic Ban: Bhutan is plastic-free since 1999. Don't carry plastics and remain conscious of using eco-friendly while visiting.
6. Dress Code: Once you visit a Dzong (fortress-monastery), make sure to cover your arms and legs as respect towards local customs.
7. ID Proof: ID proof is a must for all the guests at the time of booking as well as at the time of arrival. Foreign nationals should carry their passport as PAN card is not accepted as valid proof.
8. Photography Etiquette: Always seek permission from authorities if you wish to take photos or videos inside sacred places such as monasteries.
9. Alcohol Consumption: It's a dry day on Tuesday in Bhutan. The people do not consume alcohol. It would be considerate to adopt this culture for a few days while you are there.
10. Tobacco Act: Since tobacco cannot be sold in Bhutan, tobacco can be brought into the country as a tourist. Cigarettes can only be smoked in smoking areas.
11. SIM Card Compatibility: Bhutan does not offer micro nor nano SIM cards. Please ensure that your mobile phone is compatible before your travels.
12. Cash and Credit Cards: Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere in cities and tourist spots, however; it would still be best to have some cash ready on hand for small transactions.
